Newry is where we are based. Our workshop and showroom are at 7 Ryan Rd, Mayobridge, just outside the city, so a Newry garden room is a local job for us in the fullest sense — we are not travelling in from another county and adding it to the bill.
CG Joinery is a family-run joinery business established in 2009. Being based at Mayobridge means short travel times, quick site visits before we quote, and a showroom you can visit without making a day of it. If something needs attention after installation, we are ten minutes away rather than a hundred miles.
Newry sits in a valley between the Mournes and the Cooley hills, which means exposed sites, wind and a fair amount of rain. That is precisely why insulation and cladding specification matter here more than in a sheltered suburb. We build for local conditions because we live in them — insulated walls, floor and roof, and composite cladding where exposure justifies it.
