Older, settled gardens bring their own considerations. Mature trees cast shade for half the day and drop leaves onto flat roofs. Boundary walls and hedges affect where light falls. Existing patios and drain runs limit where a base can go. We work all of that out on site before proposing a size or position, because moving a garden room afterwards is not an option.
