A garden room gives you an extra room you can use all year, built in days rather than months, and many don’t need planning permission, subject to conditions and limitations. It’s a way to extend your living space without the hassle and expense of a traditional extension.
With a CG Joinery garden room, you’ll get a space that’s fully insulated, low maintenance, and built to last — perfect for all seasons and all kinds of uses.
We consist of a group of highly qualified tradesmen and are now very proud specialists in insulated garden rooms, serving all across Ireland.

Yes. We build bespoke insulated garden rooms throughout Drogheda and Co. Louth, from compact garden offices to larger multi-purpose studios. Every room is built on site by our own team.
Often not. Since July 2026, a garden room used as an office, gym or studio of up to 30 m² can be exempt from planning permission in the Republic of Ireland. Conditions and limitations apply, including keeping at least 25 m² of rear garden and meeting height limits. We confirm this for your site at survey.
Our garden rooms start from €15,000. The final price depends on size, glazing, insulation and heating specification and access. We give you a written, itemised quote that includes base, structure, cladding, glazing, internal finish, electrics, delivery and installation.
Most garden rooms are completed on site in 3–5 days. Drogheda is under an hour from our Newry base, so surveys and installation dates are easy to arrange.
Our finance option is currently available to Northern Ireland and UK applicants only. For customers in the Republic of Ireland, we offer a staged payment plan: a 10% deposit to book, 50% on day one of installation and 40% on completion.
€1500 off all garden rooms if you book in July. Don't miss out!
